First time experience with Peruvian food. Place is tucked away with a nice ambience, Liked it.

What a fantastic little venue. Terrific food, terrific service, great wine- winning combination. We'll be back and back with friends.Update: We’ve eaten here several more times in the past few months, and never been disappointed. Better yet we’ve taken friends and they’ve enjoyed the food and staff as much as we do. This is a guaranteed lovely evening.

Amazing! The service is great, the gentleman explained the menu and offered suggestions for us, being new to Peruvian food. Everything we ate was delicious, fresh and so tasty. We were celebrating an anniversary, it was well worth eating here for a lovely evening. We will be back. Please visit and enjoy!

The only good Peruvian joint in Tucson. The anticuchos are definitely my favorite on the menu (although everything I've tried is yummy).

Expensive and hit and miss food. Chaufa is good.

This is a hidden gem in Tucson. I sat at the back bar and had a delicious ceviche, best I've ever had in Tucson. The flavors were complex and delicious and the seafood was so fresh. I will be back again. I was so amazed by the profile of flavors in that dish and how delicious it was. The portion was very generous. I would say the ceviche was an entree portion and was so creative. This is now one of my favorite restaurants in Tucson

This place was awesome. The servers were great, the food was top notch, and those PISCO SOURS were life!!! Only good things to say, we will definitely be back in the future

This place will surprise you! Little door next to another restaurant. Walk in to beautiful place settings on natural wood tables. The beverage menu is as long as the food nenu, both with lots of variety. You will wait a bit for your meal, because all is made fresh from scratch. Service was great. Family operated (check out the chefs) with lots of love. There's even hand lotion in the super clean restrooms.

OVERALL excellent. Good food. Good service. Clean restaurant. Nice ambience. Delicious cocktail. Only thing I could wish for is larger portion size. We left resturant feeling a little hungry still. Left you wanting more.

Exceeded our expectations; ten fold. It was SPECIAL! REALLY AMAZING DELICIOUS FOOD MADE WITH QUALITY INGREDIENTS, TALENT AND LOVE! You cam taste the love in this food and you can feel it in the ambience. Violinist in staff played beautiful music and family that knows their business. I felt like I was on vacation! This restaurant is narrow but long and probably fits 14 tables not including the bar. It feels like 12 Grimmauld Place in Harry Potter novel and I literally walked past it a couple of times without noticing it. I'm not an expert in Peruvian food but I had some of the best meals here. Definitely get the lamb shank and veal heart. The appetizer platter is a good way to sample different things with friends. The wine here is also reasonably priced.

Delicious, beautiful, unique, and fresh food. Unlike anything I had tasted in a good way. Wonderful ambience and great service. Almost everything on the menu is gluten-free.

We went to Hanny's for a quick bite between drinks at the Hyatt and the Stand Up Live Comedy Club on a Wed night. We did not wait for a table. It was pretty empty. I split the grilled cheese and onion strings with a friend. (Don't judge us). The others shared the pepperoni pizza. The grilled cheese was yummy. The onion strings were too thin, more bread coating than onion, and greasy

Having recently visited Peru we wanted a taste of the food we loved while there. We had the Lomo Saltado and the Tacu de Lomito. Both were delicious; the tacu (rice & beans) was very tasty. Slightly on the expensive side, but what can you do.

Went to grab some lunch and it was like pulling teeth. Just wanted to order some food to go. There were 2 guys just standing in front, but I had to wait for the other dude. Took awhile. After about 20 minutes, I got my food. Went back to the office and realized that it was pretty expensive and did not even taste like Peruvian food. The chicken was mesquite flavored. The rice was undercooked and there was none of the infamous Peruvian green sauce. Peruvian food is my favorite and I used to eat it all the time back home in NYC. This is not it.

We were very impressed and will be back, the food was amazing and the staff was great. Live background music made it extremely pleasurable.

Best Peruvian food outside of Lima. I know because I lived there for two years and I return every other year. Besides, look at the authentic Peruvian Ceviche plates. One cost $25.00 and the other $1254.00. I think I will save the plane ticket and eat at Villa Peru.

I was a bit hesitant as I have never tried Peruvian food before. After eating here, I am a huge fan. If you're not actually looking for it you might miss it. It is small but very quaint and they have utilized the space very well. The ambiance is very nice and beautifully decorated. The menu is outstanding. Presentation of food was beautiful. Our party each ordered something different so we could sample each other's dish. No one was disappointed, as every piece of food was delicious! Our experience was so good and the food superb, that this has become one of my new favorite spots. If you have not been, check it out. You will be glad you did.

This place is wonderful. It’s kind of tucked away so I didn’t know about it until recently, but I would highly recommend it. Great atmosphere, delicious food, and friendly staff. Will definitely be back with my wife for dinner.

Food was excellent. Service was excellent. Menu was wonderful. We were a party of four. We all agreed we will return often.

The food here was wonderful, the best Peruvian food I have had. We found the restraunt through a Google search while in Tuson for the Gem Fair and thought we would try something new. It is a wonderful family owned place where everything is made fresh. The service was impeccable and the staff very friendly and welcoming. We will definently stop here again the next time we are in Tucson.

Peruvian restaurants in Tucson are not common. The food was good and unique for Tucson. Thursday is Pico night with a special on pisco drinks. Wait person was very knowledgeable. Live music on Thurs as well.

This place is great ! My waitress was awesome and knew the menu well. I took all her suggestions and they were great , as was the service . A hidden gem in Tucson !

Went to Villa Peru for the first time since they opened after COVID-19 Absolutely outstanding. The food was fresh, flavorful and captured the Peruvian culture. Live violin player was nice touch. Please get out and try this restaurant

Tasty food, friendly staff, busy, and Parking is limited.

It was great while there was the live music. As soon as that stopped, the atmosphere completely changed. I felt like waiter wasn't the most knowledgeable , but he was polite enough and too a cute photo of us.. Food was delicious, meat was fall off the bone tender, enough for leftovers, oh and that ceviche 😍

What a pleasant experience a family run restaurant, great service . It was busy for them on a Tuesday night not expecting the extra business from the gem show in town . Despite being a little under under staffed , everthing was wonderful.

Best peruvian food in Arizona. I'm Peruvian and I've tried all Peruvian restaurants. This one is the best so far.
